Brainstorming Project:
In this project we were told to brainstorm ideas that could help to better day products. Our group selected the every day household sponge to try and improve. To improve this item, we decided to make it fit over ones hand like a glove. This design idea seemed to be a very helpful improvement. Then the group started to think if there could be scrubbing tips in the fingers, one could clean off tougher messes. We also thought that attachments could help with specific problems that one might encounter when cleaning things. Also, we decided that making animal designs on the gloves could help with sales and their appeal to children and parents who want to make cleaning up fun. The back of the glove would also be a drying cloth so that one could wash and dry what they were cleaning at the same time.
Feedback:
After we presented our project to the entire class people gave us alot of feedback. Our group decided to get rid of some of the attachments because the class as a whole did not think that they were very practical. This was the only major change that we made to our final product.
Final Product:
Our final project was simply a glove sponge and here is a picture of some of our designs.
