They also could depend on a wheelchair or crutches. In this case, they might have trouble with stairs or steep inclines.

People with this disability have perserverence. They have to be creative to perform some of the simpliest daily tasks. For example, a person with one hand might have to find something to hold a can of food and then, using another tool, employ leverage just to open it.
